Today's session

Built from your own self-checks — the sounds you marked Nearly or Slurred come first. Five minutes, three times a week beats thirty minutes once. Clarity first, speed later.

Your focus sounds — weakest first
Warm up in a quiet room. No one is judging — this is practice, not performance.

Sound drills

Pick a sound you want sharper. Each drill has the placement, the words, the pairs, and twisters that get harder as you go. On a keyboard, press the key shown on a card to open it (h = TH · c = SH).

Articulate communication training

Articulate communication training transforms messy, unstructured thoughts into clear, high-impact verbal expression by mastering vocal mechanics, message structuring, and psychological pacing. True articulation relies on a dual approach: refining the physical way you produce sounds while organizing your mind to prevent rambling.

The dual approach

Vocal mechanics — the physical side: how your lips, tongue and breath make each sound (the Sounds tab). Message structuring — the mental side: how you build a sentence so people follow it (the four drills below). Psychological pacing — the tempo: slow down, pause, land the ending. Work both halves and the rambling stops.

Pick one drill and do it in your next real conversation. Notice, don't judge.

What this is

Honest first

ClearTalk is a practice tool, not therapy. It teaches the warm-ups, drills and habits that public speakers and actors use to speak clearly. If you have a genuine speech difficulty — a persistent lisp, a stammer, or a medical condition — a qualified speech-language pathologist is the right person to see. This app is a gym, not a doctor.

How it works — articulation training in two halves

Today is your personalised session: the daily 5-minute warm-up (breath → jaw → trills → vowels → pencil drill → twisters), then your three weakest sounds — picked from the self-checks you've recorded, weakest first. Sounds drills one sound until it's crisp, with graded tongue twisters — the vocal-mechanics half. Talk is the articulate communication side: message structuring (slow down, crisp endings, one idea at a time) and psychological pacing. Improve articulation by training both halves. Do the warm-up, then your focus sounds, then use one Talk habit for real.

Why people use it

If you mumble, rush, or feel your thoughts come out tangled — that's an articulation problem, and it's trainable. Public speakers and actors warm up the same way: vocal mechanics for the sound, message structure for the meaning, pacing for the delivery. Five minutes a day, on your device, no account, nothing uploaded.

Built from the estate's 2026-08-10 articulation-training research pass: tongue-twister libraries organised by sound (write-out-loud.com diction exercises, Forbrain's SLP-authored /th/ twister set), public-speaking warm-up routines, and the speech-therapy-app market survey (JMIR mHealth review). ClearTalk is a practice tool, not therapy — apps help you practise; they don't replace a speech-language pathologist.
